Grand Island won the last time they faced Western New York Maritime Charter and things went their way on Friday too. The Grand Island Vikings blew past the Western New York Maritime Charter Commodores 69-44. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Western New York Maritime Charter's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tremayne Harris Jr., who posted 15 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Luis Torres, who put up 11 points.

Grand Island's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Western New York Maritime Charter, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
