They were the clear victor by a 67-44 margin over Uwharrie Charter. Given Randleman's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 169th, while Uwharrie Charter is ranked 407th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Randleman was led to victory by Greg Price and Tyshaun Goldston. Price scored 22 points along with five steals, while Goldston dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The game was Goldston's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jireh Price, who scored 17 points.
Randleman is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Uwharrie Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
Randleman's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Providence Grove at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Providence Grove is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Uwharrie Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Eastern Randolph at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eastern Randolph has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 515 points over their last seven contests.
