Gibsonburg is  a perfect 4-0 against St. Mary Central Catholic since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday.  In other batting news,  Emily Henderson was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Leah Hall, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, St. Mary Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight  loss. They came up short against  Sandusky, falling  8-1.
 The  win  got Gibsonburg back to even at 4-4. As for St. Mary Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
 Gibsonburg took their  victory against St. Mary Central Catholic  when the teams last played  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  18-6 score. Will the Golden Bears repeat their success,  or do  the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
