Even though the Ansonia Chargers scored an imposing 57 points on Saturday, the Torrington Raiders still came out on top. Torrington took down the Chargers 74-57. The win made it back-to-back wins for Torrington.
Torrington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was William Parkhouse out in front who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and 4 assists. Isaac Fenn was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds.
Torrington has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Ansonia, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.
Torrington will be playing at home against the Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ansonia, they will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
