The University School of Nashville Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their sixth straight  loss. They were beaten by Columbia Academy 55-19. University School of Nashville has struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as their  game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
 Despite the loss, University School of Nashville still got an impressive performance from   Josie Whelan, who  scored four points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals.
 Columbia Academy found their leader in underclassman  Reese Shirley, who  scored 24 points along with seven  rebounds and six  steals. Shirley hasn't dropped below two  steals for four straight games.  Charley rae Hutchison was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points along with three  steals.
 University School of Nashville has  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost 11 of their last 12 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Columbia Academy,  the  victory  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 10-13.
 University School of Nashville will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against the Scarabs at 12:30  p.m. St. Cecilia Academy has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 22. As for Columbia Academy, they will head out on the road to  take on  the Lions at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
