Keefe Tech have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Holbrook/Avon at 7:00 PM. Keefe Tech don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Keefe Tech took their contest against Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT/Fenway two weeks ago by a conclusive 34-12 score. Keefe Tech were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Holbrook/Avon lost to Monomoy last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 12-50. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Holbrook/Avon.
Keefe Tech's win lifted them to 1-2 while Holbrook/Avon's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Keefe Tech can add another positive mark to their record or if Holbrook/Avon can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Keefe Tech's step.
