Skyler Stovall continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Montgomery Academy, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. Stovall hasn't dropped below 15points for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was D.j. Vinson, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and five assists.
Trinity Presbyterian's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Montgomery Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.
Trinity Presbyterian will be playing at home against Alabama Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alabama Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Montgomery Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Montgomery Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on January 20th. Montgomery Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Montgomery Academy is ranked 107th).
