The Livingston Academy Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Clarkrange for the full four quarters, racking up a 100-46 win at home. Livingston Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 27 points or more this season.
Despite the defeat, Clarkrange had strong showings from Bryton Swallows, who scored 17 points, and Jack Cordell, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Justus Durham, who scored six points along with three steals.
Livingston Academy pushed their record up to 9-7 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Clarkrange, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Livingston Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Cumberland County at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Cumberland County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 324th, while Livingston Academy is ranked 151st). As for Clarkrange, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Boiling Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
