The Ribault Trojans entered their tilt with the Rickards Raiders with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Ribault narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Rickards 43-41. That's another feather in the cap for Ribault, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Ribault was led to victory by Destiny Donaldson and Nyeemah Dixon. Donaldson scored 11 points along with five rebounds, while Dixon scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Donaldson has scored at least 25% of Ribault's points. Another player making a difference was Alexzondria Gross, who scored seven points.
Ribault has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Rickards, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
Ribault and Ridgeview will face off at 5:00 p.m. on December 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Ridgeview has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Rickards' road trip will continue as they head out to face Ware County at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th.
