The Hudson Blue Hawks's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 45-39 W over Taconic Hills. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hudson also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Malia Jackson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 13 rebounds. Jackson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Logue, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Hudson's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Taconic Hills, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Hudson will be playing in front of their home fans against Catskill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taconic Hills, they will head out on the road to take on Chatham at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
