Dawson County took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Greater Atlanta Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Dawson County came out on top in a nail-biter against Greater Atlanta Christian on Friday, sneaking past 9-8. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Spartans last Thursday, they had to take a 13-6 loss.

Dawson County's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-7.
