After a string of four wins, Ridgeline's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 64-56 to the Sky View Bobcats. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Riverhawks came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Bobcats are ranked 70th).

Ridgeline lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dawson Low, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Harrison Putnam, who went 7 of 11 en route to 17 points.

Sky View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Macade Rolle, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Guthrie, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points.

Ridgeline's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-3. As for Sky View, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Ridgeline has already played their next game, a 77-68 loss against Syracuse on the 3rd. As for Sky View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-42 defeat against Green Canyon on the 3rd.
