Despite the defeat, Monument Valley had strong showings from Braxton Goodshield, who scored 8 points, and Melias Cly, who scored 9 points. Goodshield scored a full 33.3% of Monument Valley's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
This is the second loss in a row for Monument Valley and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Dulce, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monument Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Piute at 8:30 p.m. on December 8th. Dulce will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Monte Del Sol Charter at 12:30 p.m. on December 14th.
