The Eastside and Westside will square off on Friday when Easton Valley and West Central meet at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for West Central, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They took a serious blow against Springville last Friday, falling 16-55. The state rankings had actually given West Central a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, after flying high against Kee two weeks ago, Easton Valley came back down to earth. Easton Valley found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 34-60 punch to the gut against Turkey Valley.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
