 Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Huron, their defeat was  their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Monroe took their  win against Huron  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  17-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Monroe since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
