University Prep moved up to 579 from 607 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 5 Freelance. University Prep climbed the ranks as a result of falling to Elba/Byron-Bergen 55-18.
Aquinas Institute's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Little Irish feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jake Zembiec has thrown for 680 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Alex Bianchi has 22 catches for 275 yards. Billy Lombardi leads the league in rushing with 670 yards.
University Prep made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,653 from 14,034. The improvement was the result of 55-18 victory over University Prep last week.
