It was a good run, but Christian Community unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a hard 52-33 fall against the HEARTS for Jesus Christ Guardians. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Guardians earlier this season, when they won 47-43.

When it comes to explaining why Christian Community lost, don't look at Nate Miller. Despite the final result, he posted nine points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead HEARTS for Jesus Christ to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josh Longo, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc to rack up 18 points and three steals. Longo has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Josh Aten was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards.

Christian Community's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for HEARTS for Jesus Christ, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Christian Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-38 defeat against Westside Christian Academy on the 25th. As for HEARTS for Jesus Christ, they will challenge Faith Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on March 6th. HEARTS for Jesus Christ is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56 points per game this season.
