The team also got some help courtesy of  Hannah Dubois, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Hillsboro's defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 15-9. As for Marquette,  with the  win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-16.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsboro will welcome DeSoto  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Marquette, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Parkway South  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Parkway South is coming into the  game with eight straight  victories on the road,  so Marquette will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum.
