The North Forney Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Ranchview Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully North Forney is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ranchview in Texas (North Forney is ranked 292nd, while Ranchview is ranked 896th).
Last Friday, North Forney came up short against Royse City and fell 48-37. North Forney has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Ranchview's nine-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 51-50 win over Pinkston. The victory was just what Ranchview needed coming off of a 58-15 loss in their prior match.
Alexis Simpson and Christina Mokom were among the main playmakers for Ranchview as the former scored 12 points and the latter scored nine points along with 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Kennady Watson was another key contributor, scoring four points.
North Forney's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 9-12. As for Ranchview, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.
