Football Recap: Northeast Skates Past Harmon with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). They breezed past the Harmon Hawks to the tune of 55-12 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Jonathon Louis was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 212 yards and three TDs on perfect 8-for-8 passing. Those 212 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Adrian Gant got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

The win made it two in a row for Northeast and bumps their season record up to 3-6. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 20 points in those games. As for Harmon, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Northeast and Harmon are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Vikings will head out to challenge Savannah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Savages' defense has only allowed 8.3 points per game this season, so Northeast's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Harmon, they are taking a road trip to take on Spring Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Broncos have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
