Berkeley is a perfect 10-0 against Goose Creek since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Berkeley Stags will look to defend their home field against the Goose Creek Gators at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Goose Creek will be up against a hot Berkeley team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went Berkeley's way against Dutch Fork on Thursday as Berkeley made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Stags, who have now won four matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goose Creek). They walked away with a 12-7 victory over Timberland on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Gators' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Hannah Blystone spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and five unearned) runs on eight hits. The game marked her first with multiple earned runs this season.

At the plate, Jaionna Wheatley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Emery Gandolfo, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Berkeley's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Goose Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Everything went Berkeley's way against Goose Creek in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Berkeley made off with a 10-0 win. Does Berkeley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Goose Creek turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
