The Tanner Rattlers posted their biggest victory since December 14, 2023 on Wednesday. They breezed by Lindsay Lane Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 59-30. Given Tanner's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Lindsay Lane Christian Academy is ranked 440th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tanner's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Endymion Tyus, who scored 17 points along with five steals. Tyus hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Eliyjah Jones, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Tanner has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Clements the next time they take the court. Tanner will head out to face Clements at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lindsay Lane Christian Academy will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
