Zion Christian Academy was the  81-46 winner over Lighthouse Christian when they last played one another  back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around.  Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lighthouse Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Kolby Matthews, who  went 6 of 11  to rack up 13 points and seven  boards. Matthews is also on a roll when it comes to  shooting accuracy, as he's  posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Lucas Haymer, who  dropped  a double-double with 11  points and ten  rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Zion Christian Academy and  nudges their season record down to 14-13. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 21-12 Franklin Road Christian (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 72.3% over those games). As for Lighthouse Christian, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 15 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record  this season.
 Zion Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lighthouse Christian, they will host Franklin Road Christian  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
