Speedway not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15, 2024. Everything went their way against the Herron Achaeans as they made off with a 17-1 victory. With that win, the Sparkplugs brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.
Isaac Winters looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Bradley Howard was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.
