The biggest upset of the week belonged to Somers, who defeated 11th ranked Rye, 20-7. Tim Cousin threw for 59 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 70 yards during the win.
Tony DeMatteo's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Cousin chipped in 70 yards.
The Tuskers' dynamic duo of Cousin and Josh Riger proved tough for Dino Garr's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Adding to the longest winning streak in Section 1 A - 2 this week, Somers beat the Garnets 20-7. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
