Marist extended the longest winning streak in AAAA Region 6A this week by beating Redan, 50-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the War Eagles.
Chamblee's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jordan Branch has thrown for 698 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Desmond Noird has 16 catches for 285 yards. Dezmin Reed leads the league in rushing with 515 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Marist takes on Stone Mountain. Alan Chadwick's team is currently in second, while the Pirates are in fourth.
The War Eagles led AAAA Region 6A in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on the Raiders.
