American Christian School won against the Lincoln Lions last Thursday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. American Christian School took down Lincoln 58-44. Winning may never get old, but American Christian School sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead American Christian School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Japhet Santiago, who scored 25 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Santiago grabbed two or more steals. Elijah Kenyi was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds.
American Christian School is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
American Christian School on the road again on Tuesday and play against Veritas Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Veritas Christian Academy is ranked 261st, while American Christian School is ranked 254th). As for Lincoln, they will be playing at home against North Bergen at 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday.
