Tristan Johnson of Hayes Center ran for the longest rushing play in D2 District 8 (8 Man) this season against Paxton last week. Johnson scampered for 53 yards on the play and finished with 152 on the day as his team fell to the Tigers.

Hitchcock County USD's dynamic duo of Alex Whipps and Austin Blume proved to be unstoppable against Southwest, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Whipps threw for 247 yards and 3 touchdowns and Blume had 173 yards receiving. Levi Baughman helped Hitchcock County USD's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 35 yards.
