Makaylee Gantt posted a new career-high in runs on Thursday. She scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. She was dominant the last time she took on Bessemer City last Tuesday, so they probably should've seen this coming. Gantt has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

Gantt's strong effort led Highland Tech over Bessemer City and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
