She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news, Riverside got a  massive  performance out of  Shaylea Blackhurst, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Riley Smith, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile, South Charleston fell victim to Hurricane and their airtight pitching crew  on Wednesday. They came up short against  the Redskins, falling  8-0. Having soared to a lofty ten  runs in the game before, the Black Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Riverside has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for South Charleston, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
