West had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 43-point drubbing they dealt Modesto on Monday. The West Wolfpack claimed a resounding 71-28 win over the Modesto Panthers. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.

Modesto's loss came despite strong showings from Michael Richardson and Andrew Poulsen. Richardson posted seven points and ten rebounds, while Poulsen earned ten points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for West, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.5 points. As for Modesto, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-29 win against Central Valley on the 17th. As for Modesto, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-42 defeat against Grace Davis on the 19th.
