The Arvada Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 37 points or more this season. They took their game at home on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 54-17 win over DSST: College View. With Arvada ahead 29-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arvada to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Ngewasi, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Ngewasi is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Dye, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Arvada pushed their record up to 3-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for DSST: College View, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Arvada will take on Denver West in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Denver West: 27.1, Arvada: 30) so any points scored will be well earned.
