Football Recap: Monsignor Pace Piles Up the Points Against Academy for Innovative Education

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monsignor Pace). They blew past the Academy for Innovative Education Aviators 41-0 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Monsignor Pace didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Imani Davis and Aleaijah Russel. Davis got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Monsignor Pace moved to 5-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Academy for Innovative Education, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Monsignor Pace does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Academy for Innovative Education, they will face off against Downtown Doral at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Dolphins' defense has only allowed 10.4 points per game this season, so the Aviators' offense will have their work cut out for them.
