The Fitch Falcons entered their tilt with the Woodstock Academy Centaurs with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Fitch took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 54-14 victory over Woodstock Academy. Considering Fitch has won three matchups by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Adonis Fine was his usual excellent self, rushing for 123 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 45 receiving yards. Fine's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Porter Carter, who gained 87 total yards and two touchdowns.
Fitch's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.33 points. As for Woodstock Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fitch will take on East Lyme at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodstock Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Norwich Free Academy at 12:00 p.m.
