Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Isabel Hernandez stepped things up a notch to give St. Mary's Academy the 'W'. Hernandez did her part (and then some), dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds in the victory. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Hernandez and St. Mary's Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Jefferson Academy at 6:30 p.m. St. Mary's Academy has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since February of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
