Corpus Christi Moody was led to victory by Kayden Dufour and Adrian Luna Jr.. Dufour rushed for 146 yards on only nine carries, while Luna Jr. rushed for 189 yards while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Dufour was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards.
Corpus Christi Moody's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for King, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
