The Osceola Seminoles will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Fouke Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Osceola got the win against Manila by a conclusive 40-18. The win was just what Osceola needed coming off of a 35-14 loss in their prior contest.
Among those leading the charge was Keenen Jackson, who threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Bell, who picked up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Even though Fouke has not done well against Smackover recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Fouke skirted past Smackover 21-18. The victory was just what Fouke needed coming off of a 37-13 loss in their prior game.
Osceola's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Fouke, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Everything came up roses for Osceola against Fouke in their previous meeting back in November of 2018 as the team secured a 62-7 win. Does Osceola have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fouke turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
