After flying high against Scituate  on Saturday, Smithfield came back down to earth. The Sentinels came up short against  the Lincoln Lions on Monday, falling  6-1. The  contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Smithfield struggled afterwards.
Their goal came courtesy  of  Maddie Bose, who's now up to four this season.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Smithfield  fell to 2-1-2. As for Lincoln, they now  have a winning record of 4-3-1.
 Looking ahead, Smithfield will venture away from home to  take on North Providence  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they will host Chariho  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
