Whitney took down Mira Loma 63-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Sutter Choisser ran for 187 yards in the win.

El Camino's dynamic duo of Jonah Lessard and Herman Thomas proved tough for Antelope to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lessard threw for 269 yards and one touchdown and Thomas had 144 yards receiving. Drew Hassenplug helped El Camino's passing attack out by catching six balls for 74 yards.
Marcus Robinson made the biggest impact on defense this week as Whitney beat Mira Loma. The 5-foot-9 junior recorded one fumble and racked up 1.0 sack.
Jordan Vinson was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 17 carries, he ran for 201 yards as Rio Americano fell to the Titans. Teammate Darrin Nishi added to the ground attack by rushing for 127 yards.
The Raiders' Mark Lyon and Zack Suarez have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Lyon has thrown for 1074 yards this season, while Suarez, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 21 catches for 438 yards. Mike Gimenez's team's Choisser leads the league in rushing yards with 742.
A big matchup in Capital this week will be when the Wildcats take on Rio Americano. As it stands, Whitney is in first, while Max Miller's team is in fourth.
Antelope made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,340 from 2,661. The improvement came about via a 35-6 victory over El Camino last week.
