Baseball Recap: West Deptford Extends Winning Streak to Three

West Deptford won against Delran on Saturday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Eagles came out on top against Gloucester County Tech by a score of 5-2. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

West Deptford saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Hartman, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Mason Chambers also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

West Deptford's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Gloucester County Tech, they moved to 8-14 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, West Deptford will face off against Haddon Township at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gloucester County Tech, they will take on Payne Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
