The Kennedy Crusaders will head out on the road to square off against the Shepard Astros at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kennedy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jovani Naverette, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds, and Joseph Dahl, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. It was the first time this season that Naverette scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vincent Carrero, who scored four points along with nine assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Shepard blew past EPIC Academy, posting a 71-28 victory at home. The win was just what Shepard needed coming off of a 69-48 loss in their prior game.
Kennedy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Shepard, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-21.
Kennedy strolled past Shepard when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 73-59. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kennedy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
