The biggest upset of the week belonged to Paragould, who took down 108th ranked Beebe, 28-21.
Forrest City moved up to 78 from 115 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A East. A 25-20 win over Greene County Tech helped the Mustangs improve their standing.
The Golden Eagles' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dylan Hartwig threw for 83 yards and Hunter Matheny had 33 yards receiving. On the ground Brian Griffith chipped in 32 yards. Corey Vance helped Greene County Tech's passing attack out by catching two balls for 25 yards.
Braden Johnson made the biggest impact on defense this week as Greene County Tech fell to Forrest City. The 6-foot-1 defensive lineman grabbed two sacks.
Greene County Tech's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Golden Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hartwig has thrown for 974 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Matheny has 19 catches for 270 yards. Tyler Calver leads the league in rushing with 326 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Wynne takes on Jeff Conaway's team. At the moment, the Yellowjackets are in first, while the Golden Eagles are in sixth.
Wynne was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Blytheville 43-0. Chris Hill's team came in at 14 in the state poll after placing at number 42 last week.
