There's no place like home for Pope John Paul II, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by eight runs or more this season.

Pope John Paul II pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Pope John Paul II will face off against Loranger at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will square off against Northlake Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
