The Bible Baptist Christian Wolves waltzed into their contest Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They managed a 34-28 victory over Faith Christian Academy. That's another feather in the cap for Bible Baptist Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Faith Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Sara Morgan Sapp scored 12 points. Sapp scored a full 42.9% of Faith Christian Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bree Chamberlin, who scored six points.
Bible Baptist Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Faith Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bible Baptist Christian will face off against Faith Baptist Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Faith Baptist Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 back in December of 2023. Faith Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alleluia Community at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th.
