Gladstone is a perfect 9-0 against Marquette since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Braves will challenge the Sentinels at 4:30 p.m. Gladstone is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Gladstone's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Kingsford 6-0. Considering the Braves have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Kingsford's batters probably weren't too happy with Tia Schone, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 16 Ks (she gave up zero walks). Schone has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Gladstone was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kingsford only posted a batting average of .000.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Marquette's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of Negaunee by a score of 6-5.
Grace Sandstrom made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
Gladstone's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Marquette, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Gladstone hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .435. However, it's not like Marquette struggles in that department as they've averaged .388. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Gladstone's way against Marquette when the teams last played back in April, as Gladstone made off with a 12-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
