VI Section I (8 Man) recap Oct. 16, 2012
Joseph City extended the longest winning streak in VI Section I (8 Man) this week by beating Paradise Honors, 52-12. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Wildcats.
Arizona Charter Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Roscoe Greenfield threw for 219 and four touchdowns and Daniel Gustafson had 111 yards receiving. On the ground Saleem Talley chipped in 307 yards. Christian Rojas helped Arizona Charter Academy's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 100 yards.
On the ground, the bulldogs' Talley has rushed for 1523 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Eric Campos. The Arizona Charter Academy star has 51 catches for 751 yards.
Mogollon led the league in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on Rock Point. Dallin Despain ran for 202 yards in the win.
