6A Three Rivers recap November 19, 2013
Clackamas was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from third to first in 6A Three Rivers. The Cavaliers beat Glencoe 55-21 earlier in the week.
Lakeridge extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Southridge, 28-20. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Lakeridge's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Eric Dungey threw for 168 and 1 touchdown and J.R. Mclaughlin had 90 yards receiving. On the ground Dungey contributed 107 yards. Holden Catlett helped Lakeridge's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 42 yards.
Mclaughlin was the best wideout in the league this week as Tom Smythe's team topped the Skyhawks. Mclaughlin tallied 6 receptions for 90 yards. Catlett helped Lakeridge's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 42 yards.
The Pacers' Dungey and Mclaughlin led 6A Three Rivers in both passing and receiving yards. 6-4 quarterback Dungey has thrown for 2,648 yards this season, while Mclaughlin has 63 catches for 1,204 yards. Clackamas' Dan Sherrell leads the league in rushing yards with 2,105.
Noah Kyllo of the Canby is only 66 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 132 carries Kyllo has accumulated 934 yard this year.
Joe Bushman's team took down the Crimson Tide 55-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.
