The Plant Panthers will head out to face off against the Newsome Wolves at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Plant is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.

Plant's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Alonso by a score of 2-0. Toby Burnett had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Plant.

Plant used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Alonso. Callan Nelson played for 80 minutes having averaged 57.7 this season and Burnett got 80 vs. an average of 56. Burnett made the most of the opportunity, scoring two goals A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Newsome and Bloomingdale meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. Wolves were the clear victors by a 7-2 margin over the Bulls. Considering Newsome have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Newsome's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Plant, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
