Bellflower is 2-8 against Norwalk since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Bellflower Buccaneers will look to defend their home court against the Norwalk Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Bellflower will be strutting in after a victory while Norwalk will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Marquez scored an imposing 57 points on Saturday, Bellflower still came out on top. Bellflower escaped with a win against Marquez by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bellflower.
Meanwhile, Norwalk's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 56-39 bruising from Gahr. Norwalk has struggled against Gahr recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Bellflower pushed their record up to 14-10 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Norwalk, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
