Patton might be getting used to good results now that the team have three wins in a row. They captured a comfortable 23-7 win over West Iredell.
Patton's offense had trouble getting into gear in the first half and closed the half with three points. West Iredell countered with seven points to make it 3-7 going into the half. The Patton offense took control in the second half, however, scoring 20 points. The victory bumped Patton's record up to 5-4. The loss dropped West Iredell back to even at 4-4.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Patton will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Bunker Hill in two weeks at 7:30 PM. As for West Iredell, they will face off against Bunker Hill.
